got my fx 8350 today

got it installed and so far i have it clocked at 4.5ghz i tried 4.6ghz but it was unstable on prime.
amd ryzen 9 3950x

i wonder if its my video cards being a bottleneck that caused the instability at 4.6ghz

Doubt thats the limit. I have the 8320 stable on prime and no overheating running at 5.0 ghz. 5.2ghz is stable but getting hot

whats your vcore and your system specs are you running 16gb of ram

No atm i'm running 8 gig. Not really sure if it's worth upgrading since I only play some games. I'm not doing fancy 3d rendering or something like that.

if i took out 8gb of ram i probably can reach higher clocks but i use my 16gb of ram for virtual machines.

You need to run your VM from another machine with Remote Desktop
