Got a Crosshair V Formula and... :( BSOD using 4 Ram slots

Hi everyone!

I'm kinda newt at OC, and i dont want to do something stupid to try to solve something that i know i can't do...

Well... for upgrading my pc, about 2 days ago i bought the ASUS Crosshair V Formula mobo, and installed everything that i had in my old pc (not too old though) with 2 x 2gb DDR3 Ram Corsair Dominator, CMP4GX3M2A1600C9.

Before i continue, here are my PC specs:

- Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair V Formula
- POWER SUPPLY: Cooler Master Silent Pro M700
http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=4202
- CPU: AMD Phenom II Black Edition X6 1100T 3.3 GHz Socket AM3
- CPU Cooler: Thermaltake Frío OCK CPU Cooler.
http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/Produc...C=1417&ID=2044
- RAM: 2 x Corsair Dominator DDR3 2gb 1600 MHz (4gb Total). CMP4GX3M2A1600C9
http://www.pcfactory.cl/producto/9454-DDR3.4GB.%282x2GB%29.1600Mhz.PC3-12800.Dominator.%28CMP4GX3M2A....
- VGA: MSI NVIDIA GForce GTX560 Twin Frozr II
http://www.msi.com/product/vga/N560G...-Frozr-II.html
- Operating System: Windows 7 SP1 64 bits.

Everything went OK. Also i OC my processor using 20.0 multiplier and selecting 1600mhz for the memory speeds.

Well, today, i went to the store and got other 2 x 2gr Rams, same model. Previously, loaded in bios all by default, entered windows, turned of, installed the new ram memory now on black slots of the mobo, turned on, all by default again in bios, entered windows, and in about 5 min, with weird firefox errors and restartings (i mean the firefox navigator started to throw errors and restarted itself) pum, BSOD. WTF 😞

all was by default, and i dont know what to do. Everytime i start a program like firefox with youtube music or Skyrim or any heavy game, a BSOD appear or it just restarts.

I tried to set again the CPU to 4000 mhz (using 20.0 multiplier), mems to 1600 mhz (i dont know why they appear always with 1333 settings by default :S), set 1,65xxxxx volts for the ram, set 1,48 for the cpu, and 1,38 for the CPU/NB

I dont know what more to do... 😞 i cant play anything and i really want to use all the slots and the memory i bought.

please, can someone help me with detailed instructions to work on the bios?

ill be grateful !

PD: I talk spanish :S. Sorry if my writing was bad 😕
Pd2: if more info is needed just ask!! i really want to make this pc works just fine with a nice oc >.<
PD3: yes, i managed to use the huge Thermaltake Frio OCK with those rams ;O

Well... i've tried all that i know to make those memories work and nothing.

I will change them (the 4 rams) for 2 x 4gb of this model:

I think it should go better with only 2 rams, 8 gb total.

Even though they are the same model, it's not advisable to run unmatched sets of memory.
You're better off running 2x4GB modules, less stress on the IMC and overall better stability.
You can try with all four dimms populated, but will need to probably raise the CPU/NB and DRAM voltages.

Well, the 4 rams where identical :S

Anyway, i bought this rams:
Corsair DDR3 8GB (2x4GB) 1600Mhz PC3-12800 Vengeance (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9)
http://pcfactory.cl/producto/9455-DDR3.8GB.%282x4GB%29..1600Mhz.PC3-12800.Vengeance..%28CMZ8GX3M2A16...

it seems now that my pc is stable, working by default.

but of course, i want some OC in the phenom 1100t and keep this rams working at 1600 (they're working at 1333)

someone can give me advices ? some stable config and ideas :S

thanks!

(My PC specs are on the first post 😉 )
