Got 2.1 speakers, got stereo headphones. How do I connect them to M6H's audio ports?

I'm sure a lot of people have both a headset and speakers. How do you connect them both to the motherboard audio on Maximus 6 Hero at the same time?

I can use the rear audio out port for the speakers and front headset port for the headset. Is that the way everyone's connecting them? Is t there a better way to do it?

That's the correct way to connect them.

shame. It would have been great if I could plug the headset to any of the audio pit ports in the back and tell what is what via the control panel. 😞
