HI , since flashing to 1305 for extreme rampage 4 i am getting increased numbers of BSOD, i want to falsh to older version but keep gettin in th EZ function that image is oudated? how do i flash to earlier versions? Thanks
Your board comes with a very easy way to revert to an older BIOS. I, too, had issues with 1305 and reverted back to 1202. Just download whatever BIOS you want to revert to and follow the instructions that are in your manual but this hyperlink also shows you how to do it. It is really very easy.
Didn't know there was an LED indicator for the selected BIOS - good stuff to know! To the OP - for what it's worth I really doubt the BIOS update was causing your issues.

HI. back to my table and here is where it stands now , i turn to x.m.p mode and all seems ok memory wise, i really do not understand why it worked before and with 1305 it crushed or what is really the difference and i will happy to get an explanation from those whi knows it all. i also founf in gskill site that i have to play with the voltage of CPUVCCA TO 1.250 ........ what is that thing and is it realy an important issue?, but a second issue now appears , my usb things (sitck , mouse etc are reacting very very slow , iy takes much more time than before for comuter to identify them (is it also and issue with 1305) why the do not make them more stable with upgrade , why all become less stable.? thanks
With some USB devices it does take forever for the BIOS process to complete, so I make sure I do not leave USB storage devices connected. Just my mouse, keyboard and camera. The rest I take out.
If your ram is working fine now, do not mess with it. That is my number one rule. Do not fix stuff that is not broken. 🙂
