Giving up on my new build..help please.

4 case fans

So the above is my new build (I just put this together this week). Don't know if this is important but I can't OC past 4.2 Ghz. Yesterday I decided I might as well just keep it a stock settings except for the memory; i changed memory to XMP. The most intensive thing that I did yesterday was play WoW. Last night my computer rebooted about 4 times and then wouldn't turn on. So I was thinking that the stupid PSU burnt out or whatever. This morning the computer turned on and I turned off XMP. So far it has not restarted and turned off, but I also have not put any load on it either.

Could it still be the PSU? Or maybe the memory, or something else?

Hi Serix. Unfortunately your symptoms can be a number of things. What OCs have you tried?

Observe during post your Qcode debug readout and tell me where it stops. It is the LED numbers, just near the start button on the MB.

It will be a matter of elimination but we will get to the source of failure.

Also clear your CMOS and restart your system with default values, No OCs.

Can you then get to your Bios?

Should you be unable to post then swap out the PSU and test.

Should your PSU prove OK then check your Dimms using one module only in the first slot and swapping modules.
This is just the start. Please report back.

2400 RAM will likely need greater VCCSA (1.2) and / or DRAM voltage (1.7) than you have applied.

The PSU leaves much to be desired but I don't think it is a factor here.
