Kingston Ram Kit Link
MAXIMUS VI HERO
I can run it at 2133, but nothing I have tried will allow the machine to boot at 2400
It's not on vendor approved list.
XMP profile 1 won't work
Manual timing settings don't work
4770K, overclocked or not it doesn't work.
Will not pass POST no matter what I try.
Anything else I can try?

It's a shot in the dark, but has anyone been able to get this kit running at 2400 on a board it's not approved for?

Keep in mind that anything past 1600 on that board is an OC. Have you tried XMP then before saving BIOS going to ram volts and jacking it up a bit?
Thats about all I can offer and why I always stick to the QVL list. I varied from it once and ate a $600 kit as it was replace faulty only, no refund and get a different kit.
