Get POST Code 45 Running 32GB (4 x 8GB) G.SKILL Ripjaws X (16GB Works)

I have the Maximus IV Extreme Rev3 and 32GB (4 x 8GB) G.SKILL Ripjaws X. When I try to boot I get POST code 45. If I remove two sticks of RAM (from the red slots) the system POSTs fine. I have also swapped two sets of RAM and they work as long as I only put in two sticks, and always fails when I put in all four.

The BIOS shows the RAM as 16GB running at 1,333MHz.

This is the RAM I purchased:

Anybody else using this combo that can tell me what BIOS settings I need to make in order for the board to recognize all 32GB of RAM and POST?

Update - I kicked the DRAM Voltage from 1.5V to 1.65 and it now POSTs with all 32GB. 😄 I then tried to change the speed to 1600MHz but it POSTs a 45 again. 😞

Try kicking the voltage up again.

You may need to increase DRAM and/or VCCIO voltage about +.05 if needed. Since you have done the ram voltage. I would just go and start on the VCCIO voltage then. Thanks

8GB density sticks are not the easiest to get to work especially with all the slots populated that will really work the IMC of your CPU.

You are going to have to set VCCIO up a few notches and possibly the DRAM vCore too.
