Gene on board sound!

Hi, i've got the gene motherboard and using the onboard sound. does anyone know of any better drivers than that of the realtek drivers provided by asus (isn't this supposed to be a creative chip? poor show from asus miss selling)

also i seem to be getting a lot of feedback which i thought the design of the board was supposed to eliminate.

one of the main reasons for buying this motherboard was the fact it was supposed to have better onboard sound than the standard boards. i knew it wouldn't be as good as a dedicated sound card but i thought it would at least do what it said on the box
