G-Skill Ripjaws X 8gb doesn't work in dual channel

It's a 4gb x 2 set and works fine in single channel but not dual.

What's the deal? Just incompatible with the board?

Will this be fixed? Did not pay 100 bucks for RAM to run in single channel.

Thanks.

Did you try one at the time in each slot of the motherboard ?

Being a bit more descriptive as to what the exact issue/error is along with board settings and components description would go a long way toward help solving this.

Yes. So, one RAM stick works fine. 2nd stick will work fine if put in the slot directly next to the first, (so B2 and B1 or A2/A1) but if trying to use B2 and A2 for dual channel the "dram led" lights up. Debug code is "45" which I don't even see in the book.

Sorry - should have added more info. Tried with board settings at default/XMP off.
Same issue: DRAM led lights up and error 45 when DIMMs are in A2/B2. If B2 and B1, works fine and recognizes all 8gbs and runs with XMP @ 2133mhz; just single channel.

Voltage is default which I think is 1.65

First , as Praz said you have to give more info , whitch motherboard and witch model of RAM ... Second, before make RAm work at 2133 , you make them work at 1333, if your problem is only with RAM OC at 2133, that's another problem.
