Does anyone here know if the Formula is compatible with the Silverstone HE01 CPU cooler?

Yes it is compatible although I'm not 100% sure about the z170 boards. You will most likely have to use low profile ram with that cpu cooler. Scroll down to compatability.

Here is one of if not the best air cpu cooler.

As mentioned you will have to use low profile ram.

I measured my mobo, and it looks like it doesn't go over the dimm's at all (a few mm between the heatsink and the dimm).

After reading some reviews on newegg, people are saying you can use the Silverstone HE01 with tall heatsinks so ram shouldn't be a problem.

I've been having problems logging in for the past few weeks, so i would have posted this sooner; but it does fit perfectly. It even leaves around half a cm of space between the heatsink and my tall ram heatsinks. Find attached a picture but before you scroll down to see, read the rest of my post.

Here's my before and after temperature benchmarks (these are temperature readouts from Asus AI Suite 3, the readings from the CPU cores themself are much higher):

Room Temp: 25C

Prime 95 v26 CPU Blend Test (After 1 minute of tests)

OCCT Automatic 10 Minute Test (Ran for 3 minutes but stopped because OCCT was reporting temperatures past 76C):

OCCT Automatic 10 Minute Test (with both CPU fans set to turbo):

Here's my 3D Mark score too: http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/8378081?

P.S. It doesn't come with a second fan but i was able to fit my third Silverstone (i have 2 others sucking air in from the bottom of my case). The heatsink on the motherboard forced me to move it forwards though and my case door wouldn't close because the keylock was pressing up against the Silverstone HE01 so i removed it and now it fits 😄
