i noticed today that they release new bios for HERO VII (1104) , and when i update bios double boot from cold gone 😄

so anyone have this problem try new bios 😛

Yes, I can confirm that. No more double boot.
But the CPU-Frequency on the Front Base is gone. The Front Base Shows 0000 GHz. 😞

Can someone explain 'double boot'? I'm having an issue with my Maximus VII Ranger in which the PC turns on, then shuts off, then turns back on and boots just fine. Is this an issue with the BIOS? A 'Double boot'? Please help, on the point of RMAing the board.

The double boot is a normal procedure that the motherboard goes through if:

1. You're the kind of user that switches the PSU off when you shutdown the computer.

2. You're modifying a lot of parameters during the overclocking process.

hey dude did you have the problem with the bios 1104 on cold boot that the bios would freeze on cold boot? have you tied it? i tried to cold boot with th 1104 and the bios freezes on cold boot.
