Hello all,
So, I've built my new rig:
Maximus IV Hero
4770k 3.5ghz
G.Skill ddr3 1600ghz sniper
TT 850w
Gigabyte 570gtx

I've read it all, do it like in the manual,
started it... and all the lights on, but...

No screen (there is no signal, the screen is on SB mode),
The leds are on AO, and I can hear the HD working.

Had tried to change slots, re-insatll the CPU, make an BIOS update... nothing.
It seems to "think", but to screen signal.

What should I do?

Just before I gonna check with some more old GPU (ATI 5870), I want to know something (yes... again 😕 )

As you understand, and as the Q-Code... everything is working fine with the MB... the main issue MAY BE the GPU.
Is there any problem with the GPU comptability? there is any chance that the specific GPU (Gigabyte 570GTX) isn't good for the MB?

Ohh... I hope I can save some money for a better GPU instead of buying a new one now.

For me the bottom line is that your system works. You can play the games you want, to the work you want and watch the movies you want with your system as it is.

So I would not fuss about a two digit code. For all we know the LED poster could be broken or having a bad year. 🙂

As to your card, I would not buy the same kind right now, I would rather save up a few pennies and get a better VGA.

Any brand of VGA is compatible with any motherboard. So do not worry about what brand it is or what brand you use in a ASUS board.

How can I use the system without display? 😉
Of course I won't buy the same old card, I'll upgrade to the 760 edition... but as I'll check it in the evening here I'll see and update the post.

Thank you very much

Sorry the top part was me replying to a code 51 thread, and somehow it ended up here with your reply.

This part is what I posted for your thread.

My bad 😮

Problem solved

My friends, you won't believe what was the solution... I'm so ashamed 🙂
So, me and a friend had overhaul check on the MB, the connectors, the hardware etc.
and because the problem was something with the display, we had paid attention on the GPU area.
I have only one 6pins original PCI-E connector (red-black ends), the other 6pins PCI-E from the GPU to the PSU is some hybrid connector, and then we noticed that one of the cables is in the wrong socket. this kind of cable have 2 white ends, that should connect to the regular PSU cable.

So, after we fixed this stupid problem... I felt like I saw an angel as the screen displayed the ROG pic 🙂

But, then, as the windows came... BLUE SCREEN!!! what now?
so, we got into the BIOS, and after some research, we found that the problem is the HDD, and we switched one of the options (don't remember which) to IDE... and it worked.

So, every thing is working great now... and the next step is to make an OVERCLOCK (please share you knowledge and/or links).

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR GREAT AND PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT AND HELP 🙂
