Fan Xpert 2 bug?

From the first file you can see that I have already changed the default fan name to "Front Fan" but still at the side panel display it as Chassis Fan 1, I wonder what is the problem.

Attached also the version# of the Fan Xpert 2 that I am using.

FYI, I am using Maximus V Gene board right...

Anyone having this strange issue?

I renamed some of my fans last night and the name took just fine. No issues there. Are you using the newest version from the website?

I'm having other problems with fan xpert2 though, see here:

hmmmmm...I guess I will try to uninstall the fan xpert 2 and do a reinstallation...

After uninstalling the whole AI suite and reinstalling it...it works now 😄
