Hi,
for some reason the fan speed on fan #2 on the GTX 580 Matrix Platinum is always running on 3200 rpm.. I have tried to tweak it with GPU tweak, but with no luck, I can adjust fan #1 with no problems, it usually runs at like 1200 rpm which is fine.. I have tried other brands software, but none of them give me access to fan speed at all.
I also went back to the store with it so they could test it on their system.. they said it run fine and quiet. They basically told me to uninstall ASUS software and install MSI afterburner instead, since they had experienced problems with ASUS software before.. But I tried this and still the fan is running at crazy speed, it starts at 3200rpm even at boot, I can hear the fan running crazy from the moment i start my computer.
My old EVGA card runs fine on this system.. Yes I have tried to flash BIOS etc.. I am not overclocking anything btw, not even running RAM at 1600..
