Good place to start:
http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?33488-Maximus-VI-Series-UEFI-Guide-for-Overclocking

You can edit your topic, including your Topic Subject.

My suggestion:
If you are new to overclocking, stick to automatic settings provided my your motherboard.
If you want to go advanced, first read a lot of topics about OC.
Don't ruin your system by reinventing the wheel.

i ocied my ex E8500 to 4ghz on stock cooler for 5 years with the p4q pro and i sold it like brand new .
i wont ruin anything . i read the guide . its cool it talks about preset oc .
i would use it but its always up the the chip to decide the needed voltage/heat .
i was asking about the performance choice in ez mode . i tried it before and saw like 5ghz on the cpu lol
should i try it again ?
