Hallo,i Buy me a new Hdd After connect a errorcode Comes 98 plus help me !! Mainbord asus maximus v Formula

With no sata its same code and by another keybord and mouse tje keybord has no light and i cant push num and code 98 its same

I would strongly suggest that you remove your motherboard from the case and use the motherboard box as a non-conductive test bench. Use the stock Intel cooler and only one stick of ram.

Keyboard and mouse and on board vga.

Test and see if board recovers.

Which button are you using to clear CMOS can you describe what is on the button please.
