Hallo,i Buy me a new Hdd After connect a errorcode Comes 98 plus help me !! Mainbord asus maximus v Formula

I cant go in to the BIOS because my screen has no signal

Or return that new harddrive as faulty.

1 SSD and 1 Hdd
16 gm ram

I dont have the New Drive plugged i will go in the BIOS Thats my Problem but i cant wehen i Start the PC only comes errorcode 98 and i can do nothing

It does look like that hard drive is the problem and faulty. RMA the hard drive please.

Hello again, Please do a clear CMOS and your system should boot up just fine. Make sure that your OS drive is connected to the Intel ports, like I said use the manual to see which SATA ports are the Intel 6G ports. From looking at that image you do appear to have a SATA connector in the 6G port. 🙂

My system ssd is on 6 g i pusht,the button for the cmos but its same errorcOde 98

Try moving your mouse and keyboard to different USB devices.

Can you boot to BIOS with no SATA devices fitted?
