Error Code 50

currently on my 12th day of waiting for an advanced rma, when i ask i am told that the item is being "tested". this is the 2nd time i have requested an rma for this same issue. this last time the motherboard crosshair forumla v z is posting error code 50 sometimes depends if memory is plugged in red or black one or two sticks mixture of red or black slots being used. since i have been waiting for so long on my advanced rma replacement i have had time to wait for the bios to clear a number of times with the battery out and manualy, there are times when the motherboard will post normaly and look fine but will ask to be entered into the setup screen once i'm in i see partial screen, the words are being cut off from the right and bottom part of the advance or basic screens so i can not change my boot device settings which i would need to reach inorder for a full boot up, then just power down the system and power back up simply all of a sudden i am faced with the error code 50 once again (no memory slot moves or changes, works like this only with one ram stick either red or black 3rd or 4th slots) speaker plugged in and i get beep beep beep, i'm tired of being faced with this issue, i purchased this board since i leave my computer on 24/7 and cherish stable power and well built constructions; however, with a simple power off and power back on this has become a thing to fear. i feel like a sucker for buying this motherboard must be how a BMW user feels when the car spends most of its life in the service center. very expenisve motherboard to be having this sort of issue, video card is a 7970 works fine in other systems, ram is mushkin enhanced redline 16gb running at 1866 works in many other computers at 1866 which its rated for. once i recieve the advanced rma i will not overclock the ram to 1866 and see how long it lasts, because this is the only overclock i do. a rog board that i don't feel comfortable overclocking... last time i buy one of these:eek:

Welcome to the ROG forums, koolhands.

How are you setting up your RAM to run at 1866MHz? Manually or using D.O.C.P.?

The memory controller is located on the CPU by the way and not on the motherboard. I wonder if you have run the memtest86+ diagnostics test the guide is linked in my sig. Please do follow each and every step.

Ran for 2 hours @1600 no errors
Ran for 10 hours @1866 no errors
Let's hope I don't power it off one day and have to do another rma on the board
