Enabling them from bios causes the pc to not boot, qled 50, currently I have asus suite disabled but I can actually enable epu from there even though it is kind of weird because once I check on the bios it is still disabled.

Sorry but after I experienced a few BSOD I have disabled all power monitoring in the BIOS including quite'n'cool.

What version of BIOS are you using as well as what version of Windows you are using? I think there have been some posts with certain versions of BIOS not working all that well with Power Management features.

For what it is worth I had no problems using the Power Management features in Windows 8.1 worked just fine using BIOS version 180x.
