Is there a preferd slot for dual channel red/red or black.black?

hmm im in both black but its listing it as single not dual

well at first i had 16gbs 4x4 1600 ripjaws,i dont need 16 gbs ram so i removed b1 and b2 slot and cpu-z says single channel so i have them in a1 and b1,cpu-z says duel channel
