Doesn't boot past rog logo, qcode 00 boot device led lit.

I've had the Crosshair V Formula-Z motherboard working for about a week now. This morning when I turned on the machine, the ROG splash screen came up and stayed there long enough for me to know there was an issue. I opened up the side panel and the qcode displayed was 00, with the boot device led lit. I did some quick research and tried some troubleshooting. I took out one of two ram sticks and the machine booted up fine. I haven't messed with the bios, except to set the ram frequency to 2133mhz. When I put in the second ram stick the same problem occurred. At this point I don't know how to fix this as the machine has been working fine up to this point. Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

did you swap in the other stick by itself and verify it was busted? non bootable?

that would be the logical troubleshooting step to me. post back.

Hi Joker33A2 and Welcome to ROG

The fact that one DIMM works as described would indicate either the other DIMM is not seated correctly or is failing.
Check for contamination in the DIMM slot and that it is seated correctly, especially on the offside to the clip.
Run Memtest86+ on the suspect Dimm.
