Do you want to run this file? ---> cfosspeed.exe

Every time I start my computer with UAC enabled, I receive this message. Even if I uncheck the "Always ask before opening this file", it still asks during the next boot. Anyone know a work around this without disabling ROG GameFirst II during start up or disabling the UAC?

Extremely annoying.

Found one.

Run gpedit.msc

Go to User Configuration >> Administrative Templates >> Windows Components >> Attachment Manager

Double click on Inclusion list for moderate risk file types and enable it. Then add cfosspeed.exe to the list.

I started thinking about how bad this could be for security purposes. So instead of using .exe, I used the actual file name (cfosspeed.exe) and it seemed to worked. Hopefully it will still protect your computer from other rogue .exe files.

Admin might want to sticky this until ASUS gets Microsoft to certify the software.

Been getting rather annoyed about this cFos window at start up myself.
Been bugging me for ages, its also saying there's an update but if i update i'll loose the licence that came with cFos and my motherboard (something along those lines).

And It appears you cant get to the Local Group Policy Editor on windows 7 basic/home premium. Its only available in Professional and ultimate.

Hmmm. I run GameFirst and do not get any warning messages. What antivirus software are you running (i know it's UAC that's blocking it) and did you install GF using the Asussetup routine or the GF install setup? Are you running from an Admin account?
