DL: C5F BIOS 1102 with Updated RAID ROM / Latest RAID driver

I modified the BIOS myself and has been modified the same way ASUS adds there Modules to the AMI Aptio system.


Crosshair V Formula 1102 BIOS with RAID Option ROM version 3.3.1540.14 (Nothing else has been added)

AMD RAID driver version 3.3.1540.26 (dated 11/17/2011) for Win7 x64


FYI: You have to use RAID driver version 3.3.1540.17 or later with this RAID ROM, The new RAID ROM will use 100MB of system memory for caching.


Steps to download:

Heres a example of what this new RAID ROM + New RAID driver can do. 🙂

2 x Samsung 830 64GB

Samsung 830 64GB spec:
Read: 520 mb/s
Write: 160 mb/s

RAID 0 (64k Stripe)

hrmm my Corsairs are rated at 550 reads 500 writes i think... how the hell are you topping out at 1.9 GB/s i'm gettin like 1.08 GB/s

I'm using a 128 stripe size, dont' think that'd make that big of a difference tho.

I use in ATTO 32mb size, 32mb will write 512mb accross the RAID, 256mb will write about 4gb to the array i do this so its not using up the PE/cycles on the NAND

mine are listed as 555 MB/s read 505 writes Sequential speeds...

Ohh i thought they were lower on the sequential. ok cool all good 🙂

There ya go lol, yeah you beat me lol.

I think those high speeds have alot to do with the Read Ahead cache.

I know 32mb size in ATTO isnt a very good way to test its real speeds but i dont want to write 4gb of data to the drive each run hehee
