Default core voltage on Maximus hero

Hi, i'm running everything on default stock values now, and my core voltage on i7-4770k is running 1.2volt. Isn't that too high? im running the newest bios for maximus hero

it depends on the cpu, the default voltage is speced differently for each cpus from the factory by Intel.

Each CPU is unique and that means each person will find their CPU runs on different voltages and has different behaviours when overclocking.
