CVF-Z Q-Code L1?

Hey all,

I'm more than a little stumped by this one; and, apparently, so is Google.

1. Load Optimized Defaults (pressing "F5")
2. Increase FSB speed from 200 to 201
3. Save settings and re-boot

Results: No post, Q-Code LED displays "L1"

Has anyone seen this before?

Hey Dr. Z, good to see that you are still around as I'm been absent for awhile...snow has returned to Wisconsin so I'm back to my winter hobbies 🙂

No POST eh? Couple of things to try:

1) Did you try pushing the "Directkey" button on the M/B; that should put you in the BIOS
2) I thought there was a button on the back panel of the M/B that reset the BIOS back to defaults; check the manual on that one
3) If nothing else clear the CMOS but follow the process listed in the manual
4) Last resort- format a USB Flash Drive using FAT/FAT32 (no NTFS) and copy a new version of the BIOS file to the USB Flash Drive; the follow the FLASHBACK routine listed in the manual (I think the flash drive has to go into a specific USB port along with a button being pushed)

Let me know what works out for you-Brian
