I'm not sure that flashing it, while still using a phenom II, is a good idea...
I've red on XS that maybe asus will support thuban on crosshair v only with "old" bios, and that will be released specific bios for bulldozer.. and I think this bios is for bulldozer only..

@ Raja
there is a change log? or you can tell us something more about this bios?
thank you

Speculation only. As Raja already wrote 0081 brings nothing to the table for non-Bulldozer processors. It has however been working fine for me with Thuban. Posts 34 and 35 linked below.

Thank you praz.

I was not referring to this bios in particular.
I was referring to that thing I red

"I'm preety sure that when BD becomes available there will be plenty of bios's and also sure ASUS will state if using thuban do not go beyond XXXX bios version for compatibility reasons. "

my intent was to tell the user to ask before flashing because I red "bulldozer bios", "for bulldozer" so I thought it wasnt a good idea to flash before asking 😉

@Raja
there are two files inside: 0099 and 0811. Can you tell the diferences between them?

Bulldozer fixes only:

Changed LLC rule-> Regular on BD if @ Auto, Ultra High if user keys in voltage
Fixed overclocking Fail, save exit, hang issue

No need to flash if you don't have BD as the AGESA is BD centric so will clock older CPUs worse than previous releases (nothing we can do about this).

0081 with S3 resume the other UEFI is without.
