Hello.
I built this machine around 2017, at that time I used a Ryzen 7 1700x CPU.
It has a Corsair 750 watt PSU, MSI GeForce GTX 1650, 2 sticks 16MB Vengeance LPX ram, BIOS 8801.
I installed a Ryzen 9 5900X, but it will not boot. Green light for processor is on, and I'm getting a d6 Q-code.
I tried an older GPU, same thing.
I unplugged all drives but the M2 boot drive. I unplugged all external USB devices, including mouse and keyboard.
This led to a d7 Q-code, which was fixed by plugging the keyboard back in.
I've tried a number of things, including clearing CMOS with button on rear mb panel. When the GPU was out I also replaced the CMOS battery.
Nothing has worked.
I don't know if the GPU is not compatible, or what's going on.
Any help would be appreciated!
