Crosshair V Forumla and AMD FX-8120, Bios problems

Currently right now I am in the process of waiting for ASUS to send me a new mobo, but after reading the forums for days I am starting to think that the bios 1503v are messing up the boot process.

I think it is the combination of Crosshair V Forumla (mobo) and AMD FX-8120 (CPU), does any else notice this?
Also ASUS can you run some tests on the combination to verify if this is true. If so could you produce an updated bios to fix the problem.

For what ever it's worth, I'm running the 1503 bios and I've had no lockups, no blue screens, no unwanted reboots, just rock stable

I did... I had my pc last for about a week after updating the bios.
I did not run any intense programs nor update anything, the only thing that I did was check forum websites twice during that week. That's it and now I can't even boot.
I have my CPU on a RMA so I am guessing in 1 week I should be able to trouble shoot again. Hopefully everything will go well then. If not I will be back on here posting my issues and looking for help.

If CPU comes out with now error then i would try to find another PSU with working 8pin. EPS -connector. So we can be sure it isnt power luse from left side PSU connector. Right side 4pin. is for high+high over clockers (stability) dont worry about that(i dont use it).

I don't know if its the PSU, the whole board lights up on start up and its 850w so I can push anything I have setup.

AHP, yep 850w PSU has power, to run 2 of those, but that aint the point.
Your MB CPU led stays on and ASUS have cleared the MB?
So eather the CPU or power is to plain.

But ASUS may have flashed your MB back too much so it wont boot with new FX CPU's and so it needs older CPU to POST now.

My MB CPU_LED light does not stay on, it flashes red.

As for flashing back my MB, I am sure that might have happened but if I am updating my bios from 1402 to 1503v, why would it revert backwards. Didn't anyone do testing on the bios? Or am I missing the point here?

As for using an old CPU to POST, that is not possible because my last CPU was an AM2+. which as we all know will not work on the Crosshair V Formula. So I think I am S.O.L. on that one.
I am still waiting on the CPU to come back from RMA.
