Crosshair V Formula Z Leds and Keyboard still lit up when pc is off

Hey everyone! 🙂

I just finished my new build that you can see in my sig. but i noticed something last night that is abit irritating.

When i shut down my pc the mobo lights (soundcard & Start button) and my Qpad MK-85 Keyboard is still lit up and i have to switch off my PSU to turn them off, i tried looking through the bios but i could not find anything there to turn this off, i really like the lights on the mobo but i only want them lit up when my pc is on, any ideas how to fix this?

also noticed i could still charge my phone through usb when my pc is off, but i could not find any usb charging settings in the bios to turn this off if this is whats causing my keyboard to still be lit.

And if you guys want a pic on the build here you go 😉

Looking good dude, tell me which USB port are you using for your keyboard and you can disable the LED in your bios if you want.

Yes i found that and it works, but my keyboard is still on when i have powered my pc off, what to do about that?

Is there any way to let the LED's be lit when my pc is on?

No idea why your keyboard stays lit, mine certainly does not.

And bios setting is either on or off sadly not on in OS but off all the other times.

many boards have this problem, not only asus boards

any of your usb devices have an external power supply i think it *push* some energy back in the usb ports

the same can come from your panel when u connected with hdmi or displayport
