Greetings,

Did you get this problem sorted out yet?

There is a button on the back panel that will allow you to reset the BIOS back to the default values; give that a try.

I`ve send the processor to RMA and they have tested and it`s ok 😞 ... I`m starting to have a bad opinion about AMD and a little on ASUS ... it`s the 4 motherboard I use from asus and the first whit problems ... but at this price I don't like bugs 😞 if it was a low cost mb maybe

Don't blame the components because of a configuration problem.

Why did you upgrade the BIOS? Did you have compatibility issues with some component?

The manual tells you how to clear the CMOS with the button on the I/O panel. Set BIOS to "Optimized Defaults" and see if you have a stable system. If you do then you can start the OC process. Use the BIOS and not a software program. One step at a time and keep notes.

I'll have to agree with madcratebuilder's advice/input on this topic.

All I can say is that it took a number of years to gain the experience needed in this field (IT is my day job) to identify and resolve problems...it sounds like you instantly expect everything to work when you turn on the system and that is not always the case 🙂 Please don't blame the system and components just yet...try to find a buddy/friend that may have some experience in this area to give you a hand and maybe provide a few tech tips.

Please post back if you have more questions...also maybe give this link a try:

Sorry that the system didn't work out for you personally....I'm sure that if you would of obtained assistance from someone with some trouble-shooting background that you would of had a better experience with this board. I hope you have better luck with your next board.

I know this is old but sounds like you need to slow down and take a break and get some help. If it worked fine with the PH. II 965 getting new BIOS chips was a waste. He neede to go back into the BIOS. Start from scratch and remove the battery then go from there.
