Hello,
I'm currently having problems with my build. When I start up my computer it's having a lot of sound issues. 2/3 boots I will have no ability to change the playback devices from the system, it simply wont open the playback devices. I have to re-boot 2-3 times before it will allow me to open programs like Skype, Teamspeak, or Ventrilo. Anytime you open a game or use anything that uses the current sound device it stops me from opening the sound link under control panel completely. However after I reboot a few times eventually everything in the task bar will load much quicker and I'll be able to use the computer as normal.
I'm running Windows 8 Pro 64 Bit,
I'm using a 50" LED TV as my monitor.
It seems like after I go to device manager and uninstall the Realtek HD Audio device driver the playback devices instantly shows up. I've tried installing and uninstalling the drivers from Asus's website and from Realtek's website.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
It also freezes firefox up often, I've tried disabling the sound card completely and it still locks up and freezes and playback devices wont open. I think this is something driver related.
