Crosshair V Formula Z - 4 pin EATX 12v power connector

Hello, I just completed my build and I really like this motherboard! My only question right now, is that I noticed there is an extra 4 pin EATX 12v power connector at the top of the board. I'd like to connect it to the PSU, but I'd like to know how? I recently bought a couple wires to try to do this (ATX to 4 pin molex power adapter & 4 pin to 4 pin ATX12v extension). Is this all I need, and just plug the molex into a molex extension plugged into the PSU? Thanks everyone. I apologize for my ignorance, but I guess we all have to start somewhere.

Hello my friend

Please list which PSU you have and maybe include all your hardware.

It is very important to use both the 8 pin and the 4 pin connector with the new AMD processors.

Thank you, which Coolermaster PSU mate, regardless of if it has both the 8pin and a detachable 4+4 pin EPS connector, do use both 8 and 4 pin both please.
