Crosshair V Formula HT LINK Problem

I can not change the HT Link speed from 2000. The BIOS lets me select a different speed but in windows 7 64 bit ROG CPU ID and Bios shows 2000. I can change the NB, CPU speed.

CPU 970
BIOS 1102
8 GB G.skill sniper 1866

Welcome to the forum.
Change the AI Overclock Tuner to manual, then you can change the settings.

I suggest that you set your sytem to default fail safe settings and update your BIOS using the latest BIOS from the support page of your motherboard. I suspect that will resolve your issue. If you are interested there are a couple of very good guides and articles discussing the bios settings and how they are best used. These guides and articles can be found at the top each sub-forum.
