Crosshair II Mobo Blinks, Wont Power up.

Crosshair II Motherboard Blinks lights! Won't power Up

Just replaced the PSU with a new one, and it powered on fine the first time. I shut it down. Now the Asus Logo on the board flashes and the Clear/Reset CMos buttons flash about every 1 or 2 seconds. I replaced the CMOS battery no luck. Tried taking it down to a basic system, 1 stick ram, 1 hard drive, basic video card. No Power up. Help!

kkn ... my thought exactly .. just because it is 'new' doesnt mean it works ...
Id test that out .. or try another before i look'd hard at the MB.

CrossHair II ? Those things were all but bulletProof .. if there arent any blown caps
on it ... & the cpu is good .. it should fire.
but if it doesnt switch'n on and then off (cpu)... id say you still have a bum psu.c.
