Crosshair 5 Formula Z no longer state of the art!

Level 8
I read a review by Red 1776 on of the Ssus Sabertooth rev 2.o motherboard. It has features that permit higher overclocking than on Crosshair V formula Z. My question is why would Asus first introduce more advanced features on the Sabertooth rev 2.0, instead of the flagship board for AMD, the Crosshair V Formula Z? It is a kick in the teeth to all of us who pliunked down very good money to have a product that is NOT superior to a less expensive motherboard design. Asus has betrayed us in my book. They should be kicked to the curb. Please read the review on you will see that that board has 2 or 3 advanced features that we do not have on the Crosshair V Formula Z. I just bought mine last month, so I really am pissed at Asus for one upping Formula Z users. I had a Crosshair V Formula before the Formula Z.

We probably won't see any new ROG AMD Boards till Excavator hits, unless SteamRoller changes the AM3+ socket(Similar to Haswell-E's 2011-3), which it probably won't. if Memory serves me correct, Excavator will support DDR4...whether we get Quad Channel is as HiVizMan said...up to AMD.

i think maybe motherboard vendors have missed a trick since there is an imc still in some northbridges and the cpunb bus is quick enough ,off hand comment that maybe mad? but is there some reason they couldnt have mem via nb and cpu
