Corsair memory

I noticed that corsair isnt listed in the QVL list for this Mobo... unfortunatley i noticed too late. I have 8 GB (2 x CORSAIR DOMINATOR GT 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 CMT4GX3M2B2133C9 ) and try as i might i can not get this stuff to run at its normal speeds. I set it to XMP and i even up the voltage to 1.65 from 1.5 and its still not stable. Any ideas or should i order new mem sticks?

Ok, removed 4gb (1 set) reset cmos, set ram speed to 2133 and Dram volt to 1.5 everything to auto.

System boots fine ran Prime95 for 8 tests with no issue

Next step?

What is the specified VDimm for the modules? Set that, and then insert the other two sticks and try Prime95 again.

1.5volts

will add 2 more sticks and boot and see what happens

Ok added the extra 4gb, it boots but wont run prime95.. fails out of the gate. PC still works but cant run any benchmarks. I am going to just try this with 4gb and sell on ebay :D.

That could work, might just need more VCCIO - try setting 1.10V for VCCIO and see if it helps.

ok here is where i am. I have been playing with the one set of 4gb and i have gotten way farther than before. At this point i think i am going to give up on the 8gb total or try these setting with that other set after i am done playing. My goal is 4.8 stable.

4.7 GHZ stable!
BCLK 100
LLC Ultra (75%)
vcore 1.375 (would like to set it to auto or try offset mode)
VCCIO 1.10v
VRM Freq 350
dram voltage 1.5
ram speed 2133 (everything else on auto)
PLL Overvoltage Enabled (not sure if i need this)

Can you make any recomendations?

Try Offset Mode for VCore - set +0.03V to start and see what load VCore it gives you. Then adjust to bring it as close to 1.375V you can when under full load.

Once you get it stable, then try disabling PLL OV and see if it will still pass stress tests.

Do you mean negative offset of 0.03 or a positive?

Ok an update

had no issue booting at 4.8Ghz or 4.9Ghz just upped the vcore to 1.4 and 1.475 but i didnt run any stress tests (this thing is humming now)

I am going to stay with the following:
4.7 GHZ
Multiplyer 47
BCLK: 100
LLC: Ultra (75%)
vcore Auto
offset: +0.04 (idle voltage 1.008 - 1.040 load voltage 1.360- 1.401
phase control: optimized
VCCIO 1.10v
VRM Freq 350
dram voltage 1.5
ram speed 2133 (everything else on auto)
PLL Overvoltage DISABLED

i have run prime95 (8 interations), 3dmark11, 3dMark Vantage, and Windows Experience Index is rapid succesion with no crashing. (7.8 due to CPU rest is 7.9)

Next i will try to put those other two stick in alone and see if i get the same results, afterwards will play with all 4 in th3 box and mess with the VCCIO a bit.

Raja i will post tomorrow with the rest of my testing, but thank you very much for your help so far!!!
