connect 2 screens to an ASUS ThunderboltEX 3 card on the X99 Deluxe II motherboard

Hi guys, I want to know if I can connect two monitors for HDMI using the ASUS ThunderboltEX 3 card? I have the Nvidia Quadro M4000 graphics card with 4 Displayport outputs, the idea that I have is to connect the ASUS ThunderboltEX 3 card to a displayport port of the Quadro M4000 and then the first monitor connect it to the Thunderbolt port and the second monitor connect it to the USB port type C that brings the ASUS ThunderboltEX 3 card, and use converters to make it with HDMI output, my concern is to know if what I said is right or wrong?
