Chipset fan failed

So I was recasing my computer today and when I was testing to make sure everything was working properly I noticed that little fan on my chipset was not working. How badly should I worry about this? I have no idea how long it has not been running and my system still seems to run with zero issues. I am assuming how ever that overclocking is now off the table. I was about to overclock the system to 4.5ghz but guess not now

Actually.. If you're running BIOS 4102 or the latest 4206.. The Chip set fan by DEFAULT now is set to be OFF until PCH reaches a certain temperature...

To test, gobinto bios and set PCH fan speed manually or just select DISABLE option to have it on all the time.

Your fan works and as stated the setting for activation has been altered in the later bios versions.
