This build is to create a rig with a smaller footprint while still maintaining comparable performance to my former 900D based machine. It aims to have the same functionality in a smaller form factor. After looking through a lot of options for a mATX chassis I chose the CaseLabs Mercury S5 for the modularity and its ability accommodate both a 360 mm and a 240 mm radiators.
