Hi all. My rig :
3570K
Maximus V gene (1604 bios)
Inno3d 680
patriot viper III black mamba 8 GB 2133

Problem:
When I try to install any any version of nvidia driver (310. 314. 313. 320 and ......) , when installing is finishing, system crashes 😞 BSOD !!!
Why ?!!
The last time it installed completely but this time it showed BSOD while gaming ( mw3) 😞
H E R E I understood I have a problem with RAM (In fact it's because of Mobo as you can see there) Can it be because of RAM ?!!
This is the detailed Information picture of BSOD after rebooting:20708

Oh Oh I forgot something . Sometimes when BSOD happens and system resets, In next boot MOBO says Overclocking Failure !!! and system doesn't boots until I Reset Bios settings !!! But I haven't changed anything in bios except Enabling XMP and IGP multi monitor !!!

WHY THIS HAPPENSSSSS 😞 I'm getting mad:(

Please download Memtest86 and run it to check if your RAM is the culprit. There is a guide in my signature written by HiVizMan if you have never used the program before. Report back with your results.

Hi
I have used it. in my last topic the guy you said told me RMA MOBO !
I've asked some of my friend they had RAM problem too. MOBO has problem. now what ? can I repair mobo myself ?
tnx

Hello my friend.

What you have to understand is that finding faults is not as easy over the internet as one would like. Memory issues can be found in many places, for example CPU as the CPU is the memory controller, the memory sticks may work perfectly but the error is reported as memory. It may also be in the OS. The list can grow of where errors can be found.

Now when you did the memtest86+ testing did you follow each and every step in the guide all the way to the end of the guide? So I am asking you did your memory pass the test once you had overclocked your memory to the memory specification?
To help us help you - please provide as much information about your system and the problem as possible.

Forget it !
another damn problem !
sometimes system doesn't shutdown ! screen does but case doesn't !!
why ?!! this happen for reset and hibernate !!
tnx

look in bios and see what its set too, if its shut down or hibernate.

hi again
Hivizman
please read the topic I have written in 1st post. You said test with that software. In your signature there is a tutorial for that. It's written test dimm on all slots. Bus two slots of my V Gene are not working ! If I install any dimm on them, system doesn't load. So I can run test . THE PROBLEM IS WITH MY MOBO .AM a wrong ?!

kkn what do you mean ?
I had this problem weeks ago and it solved itself. and it's back now !:|
some times when system resets, it boots for 3-4 sec and it resets again correctly . why does this f..... problem happen ?
I hadn't see any problems like these in internet ! Seems i'm not lucky 😐

inside bios, there is an option you can choose ( i dont remember where it is as right now ).
it can be set so the pc reboots when shutdown ( for example after power outs ) and return to laste state.
look in the manual and see if you find it, like i stated i dont remember where it is and right now i dont have the time to look for it ( sorry ).

It does seem like a bad board.....have you taken the CPU out and looked very carefully at the cpu socket to see if any pins are not in the right place....maybe re-seating the CPU and making sure the cooler is mounted very carefully might help. If RAM slots still aren't working after this maybe time to consider sending the board back....

The "overclock failed" message is typical when the RAM fails at your current settings. The overclock in this case will be the XMP settings. The XMP profile is, tecnically, an overclock setting.
