My brand new M4E-Z board wont post
2600k
Noctua NH-D14
2x4 G Skill RAM
2x GTX 570 SLI
1200 Watt PSU

Hooked everything up and the system wont post, all the parts came from a system that worked just fine on a ASRock Board. Im thinking this board is DOA. It looks like it will take 10-15 days for the company that sold me the board to process the return and issues my refund, never mind shipping for the new board. How long does RMA take? Or did i just miss something.

Tried both sicks of ram in each dimm, tried different psu and gfx everything but CPU. Cleared and reset cmos etc.

Are you getting any lights on the board indicating it has power? When you try to turn it on do you get any fan movement at all? Any post codes on the LCD poster?
A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station…

Hello and welcome

I would advise that you re-do your installation before sending the board off for RMA.

Paying particular attention to your PSU connectors as it sounds like maybe, just maybe a connector was missed.

Can you provide a bit more information as to how you determined the board was DOA. I accept it would not post, but did the lights come on, did a fan spin up, where did the LED lights stick on? Stuff like that.

Cheers
To help us help you - please provide as much information about your system and the problem as possible.

I don't know what sort of cooler you are using, if it's a stock oh aftermarket, but I had a similar problem with a second hand board maximus and after a few hours looking at the dam thing I took everything apart and start it again, Problem was the cooler was to tight to the CPU, after that wow all was good.
Thx hope it helps
