Brand new Hero Vii owner. What settings should I tweak in BIOS for stable stock?

Hey all, I'm a proud and excited owner to finally retire my good and reliable mATX Gene-Z Gen2 and upgrading to a 4790k setup with a sexy new Hero VII mobo.

I do plan on overclocking but I wanna make sure everything is stable before I attempt going that route again with this new set up. Are their any pariticular settings I should change in the huge BIOS that would be optimal or better then what comes outta the factory?

Also, is there a particular BIOS version I should say away from?

You need to read a little before starting to mess with the settings; you can find some info about this here : https://communities.intel.com/message/271651?tstart=0#271651
I have some photos in there (user danyxp, about half way down the page) with what I had to do in bios to run close to intel specifications, with decent temps.
And here https://communities.intel.com/docs/DOC-23517 is a post from an intel moderator (or tech) detailing the issue with high temps, is what I read first.
There is a lot of good info around here in rog forums, but takes some time to dig it out 🙂
