So this issue has appeared in the last 6 months and has happened 3 times now!
System hasn't changed, only Windows 10 updates and it's my brothers PC who is not a gamer and only really watches Youtube videos, his dashcam footage, Facebook and TV via our Virgin subscription!
What happens is the PC turns on but will not boot, the RAM/GPU/CPU LEDs go out and only the BOOT LED stays lit! I unplug all the HDD, DVD and SSD and it still won't boot!
Initially I found the BIOS Flash back will work and I can get into the BIOS to reset the boot order, disable boot logo and post to 1 sec and enable XMP, nothing else was changed! This got the system working and a last week he had the same issue so used BIOS Flashback and it was working.
Today the same issue has re-appeared and this time I just Cleared the CMOS via the jumper and that got me to the press DEL or F2 screen but the keyboard will not work so cannot get into the BIOS to change any settings. His keyboard is a Microsoft Digital Media 3000 keyboard so I plugged my Corsair Vengeance K95 into the same USB 2.0 port and rebooted but had the same issue, this doesn't happen with BIOS Flashback?
So every time this happens I have to use BIOS Flashback to recover the system, the question now is WHY, anyone able to shed any light on this issue?
