I have an old PC with mobo Intel dp55wb. I had 2x2gb Kingston ddr3 1333 and decided to buy 2 more dimms, and I bought 2x4gb gskill ddr3 1333.
When I powered up I got blue screen. I removed the old dimms and happened the same. I entered bios just to see the specs of the New ram and to compare with the old one. I exit bios without saving and after that my PC is not booting anymore. I am stuck at a Black screen without beeps. I tryed to booting with only one dimm in each slot and still Black screen. I took off bios battery, I changed the jumper, I pressed power for 30 secs without battery and I even booted without bios battery and jumper. I am stuck at a Black screen.
Is it possible the motherboard went dead?
