Bios update?

i wander if its a reasonable to update my Maximus 7 Hero Bios... i got my new gpu and i wander if the update of the bios gonna help me to overclock it better?

Hello Sashasever, welcome to the ROG forum.

Updating the bios won't have any effect on overclocking your gpu and there's no need to update the bios unless you're having some sort of problem.

i running now 2012v but in description for late versions said that is some improvement for the 5 gen cpu`s
so its still not a good reason to update it?

Sure you can update the bios if you wish the latest version is 3003.
