Hi sabah70

Although not documented Qcode 40 is ACPI/ASL a checkpoint meaning the system is waking up from an S4 sleep state.
I believe S4 is hibernation. Try changing the plan to prevent Hibernation.

Presuming you are using windows 8.1, Code 40 is resuming from an S4 state that Windows uses for Fast Boot - allowing the OS to load quicker.
However MeanMachine is correct that Code 40 appears after hibernation too.

Restarting doesn't use the Fast Boot system - so the LCD poster will return to A0 (or whatever code you get normally)
