Bios 2201 and temperatures

I just noticed that after playing bf3 that my temps are reading well below where they were with 2012, too low. I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this as well?

Too low? If it is running the game just fine, be happy.

Are you reading temps from AI Suite or something like HWMonitor? I don't know my bios, don't fix it if it ain't broke right - but AI suite shows temps 20c below what they are, and since the fans run by that, it could suck, but I never cross real 62c running my noctua d-15 on standard. When I realized the i7 4790k overclocked like fat kid on a bike i thought what a waste of money, but thanks to Ai Suite, lucky me.. i guess

See that's what I'm talking about. This new bios skews the temperature reading to the low side well below where they actually are. Asus needs to correct the calibration in the next bios.

Same here, i have a i7-4790Kand asus reads 40degC on idle and Speccy says it's 46degC. Also i think this temperature is a bit high....but i'm waiting for that arctic silver 5 to break-in....just applied it yesterday.

Sinced 2201 i noticed a higher voltage on prime95 torture, before there was a max voltage about 1.24-1.26v, now 1.31v with a 4790k. But the temperatures seems better, only on small FFT it still scars 100°C and throttling. These voltages read from AI Suite, HW monitor says 1.29v max. With 2012 before, both monitors reported identical values...
