Best i7 for Hero VII board?

Hi! When I built my last computer, I used a Maximus Hero VII, with an i5 4670K CPU. I think I want to upgrade to an i7, but I don't know which i7 is the best one that is compatible with this motherboard. Is the i7 4790K the best available processor for this board?

Yup. I think the i7-4790K would be the best chip for you, however if you wanted to get the best $/performance ratio then I've seen some second hand i7-4770K on the market for very good prices.
