"additional turbo mode CPU core voltage" not working

With CPU core voltage set to adaptive, offset to auto, the "additional turbo mode CPU core voltage" seems to be ignored. No matter what I set it to, the turbo voltage (HWMonitor) is always 1.275V.Maximus VII Hero (BIOS 1104)i7-4790K
