Kingston Beast 2x8GB 2400MHZ

Hi All, is anyone running the above memory on the Asus Formula Z MB. If i set to 2400 XMP profile (which for some reason shows as 2401) i start to get random crashes but if left as default 1600 it works fine with my 9370.
